Parneet Thiara

Parneet Singh Thiara earned his law degree from the University of Leicester, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles while gaining valuable international experience. His upbringing on a family farm instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and responsibility from an early age. Qualities that continue to shape his approach to both his personal and professional life.

Prior to law school, Parneet completed a BA in Criminology at Simon Fraser University. His studies provided him with a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system and strengthened his analytical and critical-thinking skills. Motivated to expand his legal knowledge, he pursued legal studies abroad, where he not only gained insight into a different legal system but also had the opportunity to travel and experience diverse cultures and perspectives.

Parneet has a particular interest in family law; however, during his articling term, he looks forward to working on a broad range of matters and gaining experience across all areas of law. He is eager to continue developing his legal skills while contributing to the needs of clients and the firm.

Outside the office, Parneet remains actively involved in farming and enjoys spending time outdoors. He values time with family and friends and appreciates the strong sense of community and work ethic that farming provides. Whether working on the farm or in a professional setting, Parneet brings dedication, resilience, and a commitment to excellence to everything he does.
